Is that really "relevance"? I totally agree with what you said, that we need to be speaking to people so that they listen and understand, not as though we are speaking at a wall. When I hear, "We need to be relevant", I hear someone thinking about changing the essential content, not how it is communicated. I think what you're saying is, "We need them to see how relevant Scripture really is!", to which I firmly agree.
